However, the aluminum-flywheel part numbers with 800 and 900 prefix is made from aircraft grade billet aluminum for lightweight. This aluminum flywheel features an automatically retained starter ring gears as well as replaceable steel friction surfaces, which have been heat treated for abrasion resistance and long life. Also, it features CAD/CAM design and is CNC machined to strict tolerances for a perfect fit and hassle free bolt in performance. This aluminum flywheel that is made and designed exclusively by Centerforce removes the compromises engineered into the factory piece. The end result is that your vehicle when fitted with this aluminum flywheel is able to rev more freely, launch more smoothly, and idle more steadily.
